We are thrilled to announce two new additions to our ever growing team, Bhakti Gajjar and Caterina Serenelli. With their varied backgrounds and expertise they further strengthen our capabilities as we continue to win new business across different market sectors.

Bhakti is a corporate communications professional with extensive knowledge of both national and international broadcast and print media, and works closely with online publications and specialist bloggers. She has a particular interest in understanding how companies’ reputations can be managed across different stakeholder groups and how this affects, and is affected by business strategy. Bhakti has also worked with clients to identify and respond to challenges around communicating with employees, designing and delivering solutions accordingly. Other areas of expertise include crisis and issues management and digital media.

Bhakti joins us from Cohn & Wolfe, where her client experience included thought leadership campaigns for companies such as Lloyds Banking Group and Drinkaware, issues and CSR for Ferrero, and on-going support for Warburtons and Twinings. Prior to this she worked on UK activations for global clients including Microsoft, Procter & Gamble and Westfield.

Caterina joined Sermelo as a consultant in January 2015 with public relations and public affairs experience across a broad range of sectors including financial services, charities, government bodies, technology and sports. She has comprehensive knowledge of the media landscape and has built an extensive network of media contacts.

Caterina joins us from Hanover Communications where she was responsible for providing strategic research and monitoring for a number of clients including the European Commission, NFL, CrossBorder Capital and the FSCS. She has also completed a traineeship at the European External Action Service in Rome where she helped develop a structured political dialogue between the European Union and the Holy See. Caterina is a fluent Italian and Russian speaker.
