Wanted: Ambitious, conscientious Junior Consultant

31Jan Posted by Tom Clive

Job description:

Here at Sermelo, we are looking for a bright, adaptable, ambitious and conscientious graduate to join our growing team of consultants.

As a communications consultancy based in central London, we’re looking for a candidate with outstanding written skills, intellectual curiosity, as well as an avid interest in current and corporate affairs. Other key strengths we’re looking for include strong organisation skills, and an ability to meet strict deadlines in what can be a busy and dynamic consultancy environment.

You will be responsible for media monitoring on a daily basis, blog development for our website, social media activity, engaging with journalists on behalf of our clients, as well as press release development and various content development projects for our portfolio of clients. If successful, you will be introduced to clients and projects relatively quickly, with a view to being fast tracked to a full-time consultant after three months.

Although the internship is listed as for only three months, we are looking for someone more long term that is looking to grow and develop with us as we continue to expand as a company. Specific experience in PR, communications or corporate affairs isn’t essential, but a degree that requires strong analytical and written skills would be preferred.

Salary: Starting salary for the 3 month Junior Consultant position will be £18,000 per annum (pro rata).

Contact: Please send your CV to tom.clive@sermelo.com, along with 300 words on why you would be good for the role.

Application Date: Once we’ve met the right candidate, we are looking to hire as soon as possible
