London, 19 July 2012. Sermelo today announces that Senior Consultant, Maria Shopova (neé Stefanova) has been promoted to Associate Partner. Maria will be responsible for assisting in the development of Sermelo’s strategy and supporting the business’ continuing growth. She will also be responsible for developing innovative new products that will help to strengthen Sermelo’s offering, as well as supporting the business objectives of the company’s prestigious clients.
After two years of study, Maria is also celebrating the completion of an Executive MBA from London Business School, which adds to her growing list of achievements. In 2009, Maria was named as one of PR Week’s ‘29 under 29’ and since joining Sermelo from the Carbon Trust in January 2011, she has played a key role in the innovative consultancy’s success, and leveraged the experience she gained while working in both New York and London for Burson-Marsteller.
