Sermelo appoint John Stanley and promote Sara Benwell to Senior Consultant

London, 01 May 2013. Sermelo, the innovative corporate affairs advisory firm, continues to grow with the appointment of Senior Consultant, John Stanley, who was previously with Keene Communications.  John will play a key role in strengthening Sermelo’s public affairs offering, in line with the company’s mission to encourage integrated stakeholder engagement to support client business goals.

John joins Sermelo, bringing with him experience in running pan-European integrated communications campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, as well as foreign governments. John specialises in developing community engagement strategies for political campaigns and his public affairs experience spans previous roles he has held for Geoffrey Clinton-Brown MP, Shadow Minister for International Trade & Development, Lord Truscott, Claire Curtis-Thomas MP and The European Enterprise Institute.

Sermelo has also announced that Consultant Sara Benwell has been promoted to Senior Consultant. In her new role, Sara will continue to support and develop the firm’s client relationships, as well as drive the prototyping and development of innovative new methodologies to address client needs and challenges.
